STUDENTS -HERE THEY ARE! YOUNG SARDINIANS ARE ENTERING THE FIELD AGAINST ENERGY SPECULATION IN THEIR LAND

I have been waiting for a long time to see young Sardinians in the streets to fight in defense of their Land, against the speculative energy assault that is devouring pieces of its beauty, its identity, their own future.

They have just entered the field, in Siniscola.

Their debut on the scene of the Sardinian revolt against the unscrupulous and disrespectful energy speculation is the beginning of a new step that will accelerate, strengthened by their energy, their courage and their awareness which has flourished, eliminating the expectations of those who thought they were "sleeping" and alienated by social media and cell phones.

But no, and I was waiting for them...

And they arrived, provoked by the gamble of Nadara S.P.A. which, in its delirium of omnipotence, had completely miscalculated, foreseeing, in the Aula Magna, little Sardinians ready to swallow its lessons on “Clean Energy" like, unfortunately, some young Sicilians...

It all started from the Sardinian Union which had announced a meeting, scheduled for today 11 February, in the Aula Magna of the Liceo Scientifico M. Pira in Siniscola, during which the "teaching" would be entrusted to representatives of the company Nadara Italy S.P.A., specialized in the design, construction and management of wind farms.

Even the Mayor of Siniscola learned the news from this third source and was shocked...

Nadara is one of the largest electricity producers in Europe, with 92% of its installed capacity coming from wind power, generated by almost 2,000 turbines already productive in Europe and the United States where Trump will no longer allow it.

Therefore, Nadara urgently needs more spaces to sacrifice in Europe, in Italy, in Sardinia....

Nadara S.P.A. was born from the merger of two companies controlled by J.P. Morgan, the Italian Renantis (formerly Falck Renewables) and the British Ventient Energy.

It is the largest on-shore wind power player in Europe, with active plants in France, Spain and Portugal and in its communication attributes to itself the requirement of "independence", no one knows for what reason...

Now also equipped for the construction of offshore plants, it would like to place one in front of the coasts of Baronia, offering a new view of disturbing, destructive and invasive white wind turbines which would also cause blocks to navigation, bathing and serious pollution/alteration of the delicate marine ecosystem.

Driven by the compelling desire to break down obstacles, taming citizens, trying to hit them from behind, Nadara Italy invented lessons offered to students, so to educate them on the "value of wind power" so that, at a later time, they would bring it into their homes, to their families.

On the Nadara website, in April 2024: over one hundred Sicilian students with “At school with energy!”, the educational campaign for the new generations, born from an idea of Legambiente in collaboration with Renantis, an independent producer of renewable energy, with plants operating in Italy and abroad.

Sicily is one of the Italian regions where the project “At school with energy!” was welcomed with enthusiasm and participation.

School groups and teachers were involved in the educational path supported by Renantis and managed by Legambiente Scuola e Formazione.

Thanks to the educators, 106 pupils from the "Filippo Traina" comprehensive institute in Vittoria (Ragusa) and from the "Ottavio G. De Cruyllas" ICS in Ramacca (Catania), together with teachers and families, followed a path to raise awareness on issues of fundamental importance for the future of the Planet and the next generations.

Therefore Nadara thought of crossing the sea with her lessons, jumping from the island of Sicily to the island of Sardinia, landing in Siniscola where their evil toy broke.

The students of Liceo M. Pira expressed their opinion by slamming the door in the face of speculators.

At 11.00 this morning, with the "lesson" ready, the kids left the classrooms and joined the committees against energy speculation that came to the rescue from all over the island.

Maria Antonietta Pirrigheddu anticipated it yesterday from the Facebook page of the Gallura Coordination Group against wind and photovoltaic speculation:

“Someone won't sleep on it...

Because tomorrow at 11 there will be a lot of us there!”

This way they will be able to explain to a wider audience the magnificence of the blades on the Siniscola coast.

Also the Sardinian Territory Protection Group - Gruttes Oristano:

“Tomorrow morning everyone in Siniscola will support the kids who are protesting against the indoctrination attempted by those who have an interest in installing an offshore wind farm in front of their coast!

The committees will be with them!”
